The American singer-songwriter Brookln Dekker, better known by his stage name Dekker, creates indie folk that is both intimate and compelling. Raised in the American Midwest, he writes sensitive songs about themes such as depression and the hysteria of our times. With his dreamy voice and strong melodies, he has managed to reach an ever-growing audience in recent years, particularly in Europe. In a short period, he released three strong albums: ‘Slow Reveal: Chapter One’ (2020), ‘I Won’t Be Your Foe’ (2022), and ‘Future Ghosts’ (2024). This fall, his fourth album will be released, with the latest single ‘The Dove’ already offering a moody preview of what’s to come: a cohesive, clear indie folk record.
