INDIEPOP WITH PHILOSOPHICAL DEPTH DELIVERED WITH A DOSE OF RURAL SOBRIETY
Astronaut is the musical project of songwriter and philosopher Pelle Bast. With humor and lightness, he sings, questions, and mocks themes like sex, love, and the cosmos. The Dutch lyrics reflect philosophical depth, delivered with rural sobriety. Last year, he was selected by Popronde, named a 3voor12 talent, and presented his debut album in a sold-out EKKO. Now, he’s bringing his band back to our venue to surprise us with the sound of his upcoming second album, full of contrasts between vulnerable moments, energetic drums, and trumpets.
