Utrecht Band Creates distinctive, Adventurous, and Catchy Indie Pop
Founded in Utrecht in 2020, the band started as a creative experiment among four friends and evolved into a full-fledged formation with their own distinctive sound, which they call ‘craft punk’: raw, colorful, and with a wink. After their first EP, ‘Nooit Moeilijk Doen Hoeft Niet’ in 2022, the band is now ready to release their debut album, ‘Stomme Raket,’ in 2025. Expect whimsical melodies, humorous lyrics, and sharp reflections on the world, produced and mixed by prominent names like Krijn Moons and Wessel Oltheten (Spinvis, Blaudzun). Live, De Zweefclub proves their versatility: from energetic shows to intimate living room concerts — and soon, live here at EKKO.
