Indie rock trio from Chicago on the messy duality of life and love
The Chicago-based DIY indie rock trio Dehd focuses on dark, haunting songs and a minimalist aesthetic. With tracks about the messy duality of life and love, they have released several acclaimed EPs and albums. Their debut album ‘Water’ was highly praised, which eventually led to a European tour with Twin Peaks, a much-loved indie rock band from the Chicago scene. The follow-up ‘Flower of Devotion’ was crowned Best New Music by Pitchfork. With their fourth and most recent album ‘Poetry’ in hand, the indie rockers are coming to EKKO.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts organized jointly by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we offer three different ticket prices: a regular ticket, a lower-budget ticket, and a higher-budget ticket. The latter two categories are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations play a significant role in the decision to go out and not everyone has the same budget, we want to explore the impact of offering multiple ticket prices.
