Clubs are cracking under pressure, daytime festivals are collapsing, and audiences seem to prefer doing nothing over doing something. Prices are rising faster than your weekend flies by, and the elasticity is gone. We’re in an oversaturated landscape of parties, festivals, and endless choices — how much longer can we keep this up?
In this lecture, we look at the other side of the dance floor: financial survival, shifting demand, and the question of how long the current model can last. Can you, as an organizer, stay true to ideals like sustainability, inclusivity, and artistic freedom when the numbers keep getting tighter?
