Summery surf-folk with airy melodies and a touch of indie

Australian singer-songwriter Jack Botts brings warm surf-folk with a hint of indie and a generous dose of sunshine. His music feels like a road trip along the coast, with breezy melodies that transport you to endless summer evenings. Inspired by artists like Jack Johnson and James Vincent McMorrow, Jack translates his experiences as a street musician into sincere, captivating songs. With his latest single Home Days and more to come, he promises to deliver a dreamy folk performance filled with summer vibes at EKKO this summer.

Support: Ben Camden
Ben’s upbringing in rural Australia — along with time spent in Fiji and Europe — has shaped a sound that feels both nostalgically familiar and refreshingly genre-defying. He effortlessly shifts between intimate acoustic ballads and upbeat folk rock. With his down-to-earth stage presence, heartwarming stories between songs, and relatable lyrics, his performances become truly personal experiences.

This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
