LONDON RAPPER/PRODUCER DELIVERS LAIDBACK AND REFRESHING JAZZ-HIPHOP
The London-born and raised multi-instrumentalist and rapper Nix Northwest produces all of his music himself. His refreshing jazz-hip-hop carries a laidback feel and is filled with a rich sound of strings, saxophone, guitar riffs, and soft keys. Nix grew up in a musical family, began playing the piano at a young age, and started rapping seriously as a young teenager after meeting his future collaborator Lausse The Cat. From there, he appeared on Lausse’s debut EP ‘The Girl, The Cat, and The Tree’ as both an instrumentalist and lyricist, and he released his debut album in 2019. His second album, ‘Xin’s Disappearance,’ came out last year and definitively proves that he is an artist to keep on your radar.
