NORWEGIAN PUNK BAND BRINGS HARDCORE METAL WITH A HINT OF INDIE AND HIP-HOP ATTITUDE
Emerging from the Norwegian hardcore scene, Hammok is a band that breaks down the walls between multiple genres. With a refreshing combination of post-punk, indie, post-rock, and metal, infused with a hardcore core and occasionally adding a touch of hip-hop attitude or replacing guitars with synthesizers, this Norwegian trio is definitely one to keep an eye on. Their debut EP was picked up and praised by Pitchfork, positioning Hammok not only as newcomers in the noise rock scene but also as well-versed students of the genre who manage to leave a lasting impression from the very first note. The band has previously performed in Utrecht at the Loose Ends festival and is now returning for a show at ACU. See you in the pit!
