AN ENERGETIC ODE TO THE UNDERGROUND DANCE SCENE WITH ELECTRO, BREAKS, GHETTO-HOUSE AND TECHNO BEATS
Satisfy your late-night cravings for dance dopamine with club night Corner Shop, where a selection of electro, ghetto, breaks, and everything in between will more than meet your needs. After previous successful editions, they are back to pay homage to underground dance music and bring down the house at EKKO together with Alberta Balsam, Cosmic Force and VOLPEVOLPE.
Alberta Balsam
Deeply rooted in the Rotterdam club scene, Alberta Balsam has developed a distinctive, technical, and imaginative style. With releases on renowned labels like Dekmantel and Clone, she draws inspiration from the space-time characteristics of early electronica, the technical, trippy vibes of 1990s IDM, and her love for science fiction.
Cosmic Force
Cosmic Force began his musical career at the young age of 15. He first started making mixtapes, like many early hip-hop enthusiasts, with a cassette recorder and a turntable borrowed from his mother.
VOLPEVOLPE
Based in Utrecht, VOLPEVOLPE is known for her mix of Electro and EBM beats, spacey synths, and Acid tunes, infused with dark Italo and Wave sounds for a unique crossover. As an emerging talent with a distinctive sound, she overcame stage fright after years of collecting records and practicing in her living room.
