DANCEABLE DEBUT ALBUM ABOUT DISCONNECTION AND THE LONGING FOR UNITY
The Utrecht-based artist Zedyé makes a striking entrance. Urban grooves, warm vocals, and lyrics about the unpredictability of nature characterize this young vocalist/composer. She spent a significant part of her youth in Zeeland. Yearning for simplicity with her feet in the sand, she tells of her quest to make genuine connections with her surroundings and the people in them. Together with her seven-piece band, she navigates through urban, pop, jazz, and R&B. Zedyé draws inspiration from artists like Little Simz, Gabriels, and Lauryn Hill, and is currently working on her debut album.
