Rapper, beatmaker, and writer to test new material in an intimate setting
The Amsterdam-based artist sor is one of the most intriguing names in the Dutch hip-hop scene in recent years. He made an immediate impact with his debut EP ‘Phonak’ in 2019 and followed up on that initial success a year later with ‘Professor’. This all happened after he lost a large part of his hearing in 2018. However, thanks to medication and his special hearing aid, he was still able to make music, and how! With his three-part album ‘Bae Doven’ that followed, Sor brought the worlds of classical music and hip-hop closer together. In the meantime, he also gained national recognition by winning the TV show ‘Maestro’, a conducting competition for people with no experience. After appearing in the final of ‘Wie is de Mol?’ this year, sor now returns to the stage to test his new music under the name ‘Trial & Error’. He has already performed this show at Paradiso Tolhuistuin and BIRD, and now he’s coming to Utrecht
