BUDGET-FRIENDLY FESTIVAL ALTERNATIVE FOR ALL STAY-AT-HOMES
Mom, can we have Lowlands?
No, we have Lowlands at home.
Lowlands at home:
In a landscape where ticket- and beer prices rise faster than sea levels, the money in your bank account disappears faster than your friends at 4:30 AM, and the toilets become exponentially filthier, Klokpack6ix and EKKO join forces for an alternative. For all the Lowlands-missers, too-late-ticket-buyers, and financially wise decision-makers, we present: Laagland.
For just €5.50 (!), Klokpack6ix presents the budget festival alternative in Utrecht. An evening full of guitar-fueled greatness, EDM drops, sausage rolls, one-day friends, and meeting eachother at the front left. A full-fledged pop festival experience for a fraction of the price, and you don’t even have to sleep in a tent!
The evening consists of a concert and night program. From 21:30 to 23:00, there will be two live bands: the uncut electropunk of Burger Service and the theatrical orations of Flemish post-rockers Kaat van Stralen. After that, a night program follows with DJ sets from Utrecht’s own Chananja and the guys from 030 Radio (33cl & Rhubarb); a multimedia rap show from Balkan baby Pirko; and a closing set by pop-edit connoisseur Tappie.
So, create that group chat for unflattering photos, ask if anyone has an air mattress pump laying around to get in the mood, and get your ticket for Laagland, August 17th at EKKO.
