Radio show with top selectors is back, now with two candles on the cake

Keep it Moving is back at Ekko, now with two candles on that cake! The KIM collective, based between Utrecht and Amsterdam, focus on the intersection of warm grooves and ice-cold electronics, bound together by their shared love of improv. They present the best of the Amsterdam underground, weaving together the echoey rhythmic sounds that stuck out over this past year.

Pala.G (live)
Pala.G, the versatile artist hailing from France with Moluccan roots and now based in Amsterdam, effortlessly blends global musical influences into his own unique sound. With a deep understanding of music, and cultural and colonial history, Pala.G crafts productions that seamlessly sample the deepest cuts. His debut single “SOMETIMES” on Jiwa Jiwa was selected on Rush Hour’s best of 2024 list.

Mangruv
Mangruv is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer based in Amsterdam. His music resonates in a slow fading, and sub thudding rhythms, fused through roots of global rhythm.

GUI and Adhi
GUI and Adhi are Netherlands-based, Jakarta-born artists who seamlessly blend their influences into an exploratory and experimental sonic journey. They craft music that draws on the traditions of ritualistic practices, strongly influenced by their childhood. Through stripped-back electronics, dissonant melodies, and complex textures, GUI and Adhi create soundscapes that are both minimalistic and richly layered.

Jo FLM
Raised in Kosovo and making her mark on the Amsterdam scene, Jo FLM brings a ruffkut and loose style, from grime instrumental to r&b acapellas, broken dancehall, dub echoes, to stripped back but heavy club rhythms. Never overstaying in one place.
