Four Californian ladies with a love for surf pop, vocal harmonies, and reverb: La Luz. Think sunshine and music that makes you move without even thinking. They released a new record last year but haven’t played any club shows in the Netherlands yet. So it’s time for a comeback, and what better place than EKKO? Expect hypnotic riffs, catchy melancholy, and an evening where the echo lingers long after the last note.

American band Mamalarky crafts eclectic, offbeat indie full of genre-bending twists, layered rhythms, and dreamy vocals. Their sound is complex yet playful, blending art rock, jazz, and pop influences into emotionally rich songs. Their latest record Hex Key feels like a turbulent climb: intense, intricate, and infused with confusion, rage, and determination.

For tonight’s show and club night, we’ve stocked up on plastic cups so we won’t need to rinse them with tap water. We’re also selling mineral water, and our ice cubes have been purchased externally. We’ll make sure to place a warning sign at every water tap.
