Dreamy, psychedelic sounds by Austrian indie duo
The Austrian duo Cari Cari delivers a cinematic blend of psychedelic rock and dreamy indie. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, they were “the biggest discovery of Primavera Sound.” Stephanie Widmer (vocals, drums, didgeridoo) and Alexander Koeck (vocals, guitar) embody a spirit of adventure, echoing the sounds of The Kills, The xx, and a pinch of Ennio Morricone. Everything—from their music to their artwork, videos to set design—bears their personal signature. Last year saw the release of One More Trip Around The Sun, once again confirming Cari Cari as one of the most innovative and enchanting acts of their generation. Now, they bring that immersive journey through time and space to EKKO, promising a hypnotic live show you won’t want to miss.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
