Murdo Mitchell discovered his passion for music at the age of 11. Since then, he has grown into a versatile musician, crafting disarming indie pop songs with a touch of folk. After supporting acts like Glen Hansard, John Vincent III, and KT Tunstall across Europe and North America, he’s coming to EKKO this fall with his own material.
Mail for Sil’s songs are little messages in bottles, carrying stories that take the listener into a colorful fantasy world. Their goal is to honor and breathe new life into the traditional folk genre. Inspirations include Buck Meek, Blake Mills, and Shakey Graves.
