Theatrical, Dutch synthpop full of emotion and poetry

Through poetic Dutch lyrics, Droom Dit guides you through the infinite vastness of human emotion and the microscopic beauty of everything around us. This six-piece band shares hyper-autobiographical stories wrapped in synth-rich, experimental pop—delivered with theatrical flair and bombastic conviction.Their sound blends nostalgia with modern pop, synthwave, and art rock. Following raw and heartfelt performances at festivals like Popronde, Noorderslag, Dauwpop, and Best Kept Secret, the band released their debut album earlier this year. This fall, they bring it to Utrecht as part of their headlining tour. The invitation is simple: dance, scream, sing, and dream along with Droom Dit.

The alternative electronic pop of Post Ella tells stories of compulsive control, derealization, and the fear of losing everything. Inspired by Massive Attack, Björk, and FKA twigs, the band guides listeners through ethereal synth and vocal melodies that give each song its own narrative. Post Ella lets the audience lose themselves and decay, but always with their feet stomping on the floor.

This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
