Sunny pop songs with an experimental edge
Boston-born Will Paquin started out with his distinctive fingerpicking style and heartfelt lyrics, blending folk and classical influences into the indie scene. His 2020 debut ‘Chandelier’, a dreamy glitch pop track that went viral online and has since gone gold, instantly put him on the map. Now there’s ‘Hahaha’, his debut album coming this September: loud, raw, chaotic and full of life. The title track is a high-voltage burst of pure energy, built to make a crowd erupt from the very first chord. This fall he’s bringing his guitar-driven, psych-tinged garage rock catharsis to EKKO.
Support: Skin Prisoner
Armed with nothing but a classical guitar, Skin Prisoner keeps you on edge with dreamy, raw, and fragile songs. With his debut album songs seldom sung, older demos merge with more recent work. His music comes into its own live, where the songs often evolve or turn into something entirely new.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we offer three different ticket prices: a regular ticket, a lower-priced ticket, and a higher-priced ticket. The latter two categories are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a major role in deciding whether or not to go out—and not everyone has the same budget—we want to explore the impact of offering multiple ticket price options. The higher-priced tickets are intended to help make the lower-priced ones possible, not to generate additional profit for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
