Intriguing blend of soft indie pop, folk, and ambient
New York’s Cassandra Jenkins creates poetic indie pop infused with elements of ambient, folk, and spoken word. In 2021, she released the album ‘An Overview on Phenomenal Nature’, recorded with Josh Kaufman—a truly phenomenal work that was rightfully named Best New Music by Pitchfork. Along with her most recent release ‘My Light, My Destroyer’, she has quietly secured her place among the top-tier songwriters of today. You may have seen her before at festivals like Best Kept Secret, Into The Great Wide Open, or even in the main hall of Paradiso. This fall, however, she will return for her only Dutch club show at EKKO. So save the date and make sure not to miss this special performance.
Support: Levi Boon
Since the release of her debut EP in 2023, singer-songwriter Levi Boon has been making an impression with her warm voice and strong sense of melody. She translates her introspection into gentle indie folk with reflective lyrics, touching listeners both live and in the studio. Pure, unadorned, and with her heart on her sleeve, she will be supporting Cassandra Jenkins on tour this summer.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
