Joost van Bellen is an icon of the Dutch nightlife and has been a pioneer in alternative club culture for 35 years. He performed at festivals such as Lowlands, Pinkpop, and Milkshake, and in the 1980s laid the foundation for the Dutch club scene with Club RoXY. With RAUW he left his mark on electro, while his broad musical knowledge makes him a versatile all-rounder. Beyond DJing, he is also a writer, music director for fashion and theater, and the recipient of numerous awards for his boundary-pushing work.
