Born and raised in Glasgow, the multi-talented Daniel Docherty found his roots in the streets. Many of his songs originated through improvisation while busking — performing in parks, on the streets, and in shopping arcades. He’s a singer-songwriter, gifted fingerpicker, and true guitar virtuoso with a sharp ear for pop melodies. His acoustic guitar-based tracks effortlessly evolve into layered compositions that stick with you from the first listen. The label [PIAS] discovered him during ESNS 2016 and immediately recognized his potential. Following several club shows in the Netherlands and a sold-out Carré Theatre, Daniel is now releasing his first self-produced music. He’s bringing these new songs to the stage this autumn, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in which he once again showcases his full artistry.
Will Knox delivers analog, honest music with understated folk arrangements. Melancholy and urgency come together in emotionally charged protest songs.
