Australian indie rock with a DIY heart and a post-punk soul
Radio Free Alice is one of the most exciting new names to emerge from the Australian scene. With angular guitars, synths, unexpected bursts of saxophone, and brooding new wave influences, this four-piece breathes fresh life into the post-punk genre while steadily building a reputation. Despite not having released a debut album yet, the band is already selling out venues with their whirlwind live shows – sharp, magnetic, and teetering on the edge of chaos. They’ve already played SXSW Austin and shared the stage with The Killers back home in Australia. Now, they’re coming to EKKO for their first headline show in The Netherlands.
Support: Wilson A.
What started as a few scattered lyrics in a shared Google Drive grew into Wilson A, a Haarlem-based collective fueled by good vibes and chaos. They craft ironic DIY indie anthems about phone addiction, marathon runners, and hopeless house parties. Their quirky blend of garage rock and danceable post-punk bursts with infectious, explosive energy.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
