A Loud Music Festival, Shattering Gender Norms
The earth shakes. The amps roar. Gender norms are shattered. Beware of Banshees is back! Expect hard-hitting bands ranging from post-punk to post-metal and grunge to gabber, across two stages where gender diversity isn’t the exception—it’s the standard. In previous years, bands like Peuk (BE), Library Card, Ontaard, and Plastic Persoon took the stage. And this year, we’re proving once again: there are plenty of sick, diverse bands—you just have to give them a platform. Speaking of which… we can already drop one name: after a year-long absence, the organizers themselves are returning to the stage by popular demand. RATS AND DAGGERS is back! Beyond live music, you can immerse yourself in free workshops and creative expressions that are just as raw and free as our lineup. Last year featured skateboarding, a tattoo flash studio, and queer zine-making. This year, we continue to advocate for representation and diversity in traditionally male-dominated spaces. This festival isn’t just a show—it’s a statement.
The trio Rats and Daggers explores the razor-sharp edge between heavy and punk. With raw emotion and brute energy, they ignite mosh pits on the spot. Rats and Daggers channels the punch of IDLES, the swagger of Queens of the Stone Age, and the zero-fucks-given attitude of Amyl and The Sniffers into a whirlwind of pure adrenaline.
