At the helm are Palmtrees Papi and Max Hartwig, two Utrecht-based DJs who seamlessly drop UK garage bangers alongside percussive rhythms, always with a playful touch and a nod to hip-hop. Palmtrees Papi
A powerhouse of energy, delivering sets that drift effortlessly from UKG to baile to jungle to hip-hop. Palmtrees Papi is the Northern star who’s now shining in Utrecht. His musical journey began in Groningen, where he was part of the Northern Lights collective, known for its events and releases at the crossroads of UK garage, hip-hop, and jungle. Now based in Utrecht, his productions and sets have already captured the ears of many. As a producer, versatility is his signature—whether it’s Skepta edits or Baile EPs, he crafts a unique sound across genres. As a DJ, he has an impeccable sense for the right track, effortlessly traversing genre boundaries and surprising audiences with self-produced hidden gems on his USB.
Max Hartwig
Blending electronic tracks from Africa and South America with UK Garage and house, Max Hartwig creates a dynamic and highly danceable experience. Based in Utrecht, he’s all about uncovering tracks and rhythms you didn’t know you needed. Sometimes with a playful nod to hip-hop, afrobeats, or R&B, his sets are always high-energy and packed with passion for sound. A DJ who slaloms between genres, occasionally taking an unexpected turn but always finding the perfect groove to keep the energy alive on the dancefloor.
