With Ambu Bambu, the alter ego of Amber Chen, the beats never follow a straight path. The playful musical combination between breakbeat and electro by the Groningen DJ is richly adorned with a range of experimental electronic and percussive elements and influences from her Chinese roots. After a strong set at Corner Shop and a successful festival summer and ADE debut, Ambu Bambu’s return to EKKO promises to be one for the books.
The evening will be opened by George Paolo, a DJ and producer who holds a deep love for unique vocals and strong beats. His music ranges from trance and house sounds to rough, penetrating bass. His sets are powerful, and he knows better than anyone how to make the dance floor come alive with energy.
