Eccentric, bold, and genre-defying. British artist Delilah Bon is known for her powerful music and distinctive sound, influenced by punk rap, Y2K hip-hop, and 90s rap-metal. She describes her music, featuring fierce lyrics and female rage, as ‘Brat Punk,’ serving as an empowering anthem for the queer community. In September 2024, her highly anticipated album will be released, following the promising single ‘Evil, Hate, Filled Female’ that came out earlier this year. On this album, she effortlessly weaves playful lyrical hip-hop and raw riot grrrl punk together once again. With her daring personality and groundbreaking sound, Delilah Bon promises to blow away the audience at EKKO next spring.
Support: Pentastone
German alternative metal with a strong dose of 2000s influences and a frontwoman who sings straight into your soul. Pentastone exudes pure intensity. Their sound effortlessly shifts between captivating melodies and crushing riffs, driven by Lou’s powerful voice. Mental health is a recurring theme in their music, something that was already evident on their debut album Stuck In The Sky (2021). With their latest singles, Pentastone once again proves that women in the metal scene can no longer be ignored. Mindfulness, hope, and courage are just as present as the raw energy blasting from their amplifiers. With this image, the band strikes a powerful balance between raw emotional depth and heavy, intense sounds.
