Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, we’re exchanging the last edition of “Diep In De Groef” for the first time, with an appropriate amount of blood, sweat, and tears, for “Diep In De Kroeg”. To close the year arm in arm, we’ll put the begonias outside and dust off the beer benches for a quintessentially Dutch extravaganza. In this temporary farewell to Willem Alexander, we’ll crown André Hazes as our king for the night. Let’s go back to the cornerstone of our society: the corner pub.
