Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, we’re swapping the last edition of Diep In De Groef for Diep In De Kroeg, with a fitting dose of blood, sweat, and tears. To close out the year arm in arm, we’re putting the begonias outside and dusting off the beer benches for a quintessentially Dutch extravaganza. For one evening, we bid farewell to Willem-Alexander and crown André Hazes as our king. It’s time to return to the cornerstone of our society: the corner pub.
