NEW HIP-HOP SERIES FULL OF ENERGY AND RAW TALENT
In collaboration with the Herman Brood Academy and House of Hiphop, EKKO proudly presents the fourth edition of our hip-hop series: Dom Gaan! Get ready for an evening packed with energy and raw talent, showcasing the next generation of the Dutch rap scene and emerging local artists.
Headlining the night is acid!, the Amsterdam-based hip-hop group formerly known as Black Acid, consisting of Damy, Dashaeno, Smitty, and Sor. Known for their high-octane live shows and a fresh, distinctive sound, each member contributes a unique style and vibe. Their bold personalities have built a tight-knit community that keeps on growing. In recent years, the members have been busy with solo projects while also crafting new music together as a group. With a new name comes a new chapter, defined by fresh tracks, renewed energy, and what they describe as “alternative trap with a punk twist.” This summer, they bring their new singles — ‘Kees van der Spek’, ‘Snabba’, and ‘Sheize’ — to the fourth edition of Dom Gaan at EKKO.
Opening the night are promising talents from the Herman Brood Academy and House of Hiphop: Milamaria, Kruzer, Tumelo, Moebayy, and Raffa.
