Manic mix of punk, krautrock and acid guarantees contrary party on King's Night
On King’s Night, we dive into the underground with Fat Dog, a young London band that is sure to come kicking up chaos at De Nijverheid. With only a few live shows under their belt, this foursome is fast becoming one of the new revelations of the scene around The Windmill, the flavorful venue in London’s Brixton district. They get that done with a manic mix of punk, krautrock, acid and Baltic influences. Previously they were seen as support for Fat White Family and had their Dutch premiere at London Calling in October 2022; now they are coming to Utrecht on the night before Koningsdag for a guaranteed contrarian party.
Support: Bug
Bug’s live shows burst with energy with swarming performers crawling all over each other and a moshpit in the venue. With a sound somewhere between hip-hop, punk and ravey sounds. It promises to be raw, energetic chaos.
