PAINFUL, WITTY FOLK ABOUT BEING TWENTYSOMETHING IN A CHAOTIC WORLD

The folk of high school friends Heide, Jeanie and Gracie, better known as Folk Bitch Trio, sounds soft and intimate, with a touch of melancholy. Their debut album ‘Now Would Be A Good Time’ dives into themes like dissociative daydreams, painful breakups, media overload, and all the petty resentments and minor humiliations of being in your early twenties in the 2020s. After supporting acts like King Gizzard, Alex G and Julia Jacklin, they’re now heading to Utrecht for a headline show of their own.

Support: Kaya
Amsterdam-based Juyane Kaya creates enchanting alt-folk songs, a continuation of her former life as a classical harpist. Her music fearlessly embraces raw emotions and the complexity of human relationships. The grooves of religion, depression, love, and transformation are explored through a deep-hued, tender voice that sounds wiser than her years. During her captivating and intimate live performances, Kaya creates a mysterious space where the heart can both soften and harden, and where fear and comfort coexist.
