A mix of horror punk and melodic hardcore, full of pulsating basslines and abrasive riffs
Knives was formed in a shared house in Bristol, where their uncompromising sound was forged. What started as a small experiment has now grown into a staple of the British alternative scene. With performances at festivals such as 2000 Trees, Left of the Dial, and Forwards Fest, as well as shows with acts like CLT DRP, Maruja, and Wargasm, Knives is known for their intense live experiences. Their debut album Glitter challenges fans with a fresh take on punk, featuring powerful basslines and abrasive riffs. Frontwoman Jay Schottlander is joined by saxophonist Izzi Allard, guitarists Dan Farren and Josh Cook, bassist Ben Marshall, and drummer Erin Cook. The result? A band that not only pushes the boundaries of the genre but also calls on their audience to unite in the fight against today’s obstacles.
Support: Rats and Daggers
The trio Rats and Daggers explores the razor-sharp edge between heavy and punk. With pure emotion and brute energy, they ignite the moshpits instantly. Rats and Daggers concentrates the power of IDLES, the swing of Queens of the Stone Age, and the carefree attitude of Amyl and The Sniffers into a blend that fills the air with pure adrenaline.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts organized jointly by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we offer three different ticket prices: a regular ticket, a lower-budget ticket, and a higher-budget ticket. The latter two categories are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations play a significant role in the decision to go out and not everyone has the same budget, we want to explore the impact of offering multiple ticket prices.
