HARDCORE PUNK NIGHT FILLED WITH FIERCE RIFFS, RAGING DRUMS AND PURE CHAOS
Hardcore punk is back! The genre has had a fresh revival, and plenty of Dutch acts know exactly how to capture its raw, energetic sound. Nervous Breakdown promises an evening full of fierce riffs, raging drums, and pure chaos. So strap on your studded belt and dive into the pit, this is the moment.
Frontsector
Frontsector creates a mix of old-school punk and garage rock with a sharp hardcore edge. The previous band of drummer Siebren Tammenga, bassist Haico, and guitarist Dylan Hayes had fallen apart, but the musical fire kept burning. In their search for a new frontman, Sil Zijlstra quickly came into the picture. After just one rehearsal, it was clear: this was the right lineup, and the band was born.
LS.GATEKEEPER
LS.GATEKEEPER broke into the Dutch scene in 2024 as the live-band extension of Lui Surreal. Their self-coined style, psychedelic hardcore, fuses post-punk, hardcore, and alternative rap into an intense, high-energy mix. With versatile Brit-punk vocals and an unrestrained stage presence, the band charges forward on thunderous D-beat drums, powerful riffs, and heavily distorted bass lines.
M.U.G.
The Rotterdam-based hardcore punk band M.U.G. sounds raw, direct, and full of energy, drawing influence from both hardcore and eggpunk. Their songs are short, fierce, and straight to the point, packed with bulldozer rhythms, roaring vocals, and a no-nonsense attitude. Live, the five-piece is just as intense, fiery, unpredictable, and completely in your face.
Teardrinker
Teardrinker consists of members from various local acts and is fronted by Kim Hoorweg, the determined frontperson of VULVA. Their music breathes resistance: sometimes angry and desperate, yet also hopeful and defiant. Musically, Teardrinker moves between post-hardcore, sludge, and screamo.
