Dutch alt-pop artist philine draws you into a world of vulnerability, emotional growth, and musical depth. Following the success of her EP the side-effects of living in a fantasy, she returns this fall with her most personal work to date: the truth of living in reality. The new songs – including the honest and introspective “josie” – explore themes of letting go, living in the moment, and the sharp edges of growing up. Her blend of subtle electronics and haunting melodies translates into intimate live shows that offer a vulnerable and captivating experience. Romy Liz Rose
Rotterdam-based singer-songwriter Romy Liz Rose weaves soothing harmonies with heartfelt lyrics. Inspired by artists such as Searows, Madison Cunningham, and Adrianne Lenker, she combines a classic folk sound with modern influences. Her songs testify to the deep connection between personal experience, nature, and the power of introspection.
Dining at EKKO (between 17:30–20:30)
This autumn, Peckish will be serving a variety of creative dishes on several evenings between 17:30 and 20:30. The menu includes, among other things: Mapo tofu with green Sichuan beans and Shanxi noodles (€17.50), a thousand-layer bun with Sichuan-style eggplant (€10.50), shrimp toast with black garlic mayo and sesame seeds (€10), and more sides to choose from.
