New musical talent during Popronde
Once again, we welcome Popronde Utrecht this year at EKKO! Popronde is a traveling music festival that takes place each fall in around thirty cities across the country. During Popronde, talented acts tour the Netherlands to build their name, expand their network, and reach a new audience. At EKKO, you’ll find a diverse selection of musicians from all over the Netherlands on this night.
Tjels has a passion for storytelling. She searches for the balance between vulnerability and strength, with her songs reflecting her personal experiences and a quest for meaning.
Syot, a band inspired by 70s soul, brings a modern twist to the genre. Think heavenly falsettos, organic analog synths, and Prince-inspired guitar riffs. This band offers comfort to the hopeless romantics among us.

Founded in Amsterdam, Dear Omen delivers melancholic gothic rock to EKKO. With a flair for intensity and romance, they bring an explosive and dark sound.
The live dance duo M2k, Marnix (producer) and Sam (drummer), plays 90s underground dance music. Inspired by the chaos born from Marnix’s ADHD, their songs create a world for dreamers who feel lost.
