The sisters Sarah Julia have been musically connected since childhood. From a young age, the two explored their creativity through theater and film, but it’s in music where the Rotterdam-born Sarah and Julia come together to find their true home. Inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief, and Joni Mitchell, the duo creates music that incorporates both indie folk elements and pop influences. Combined with their strong songwriting and the harmonious convergence of their voices, a promising new sound emerges for the Dutch music landscape. Over the years, they have gained significant popularity on social media by releasing covers, but now they are presenting their original material for the first time. An opportune moment to invite them, along with their all-female band, to the intimate setting of De Kromme Haring.
