Adventurous industrial from Bristol pushes the boundaries between electronics and guitars
The city of Bristol remains a breeding ground for forward-thinking music, and SCALER is yet another compelling example. Formerly known as Scalping, this industrial band delivers a powerful clash of electronic beats and gritty guitars, actively seeking ways to stretch the boundaries between these apparent opposites. This is underscored on their upcoming second album ‘Endlessly’, scheduled for release at the end of September. This winter, this adventurous band will bring their striking live show, complete with striking visuals, to EKKO.
TTFO emerged from the Utrecht underground metal scene out of a desire to push boundaries. With a shared love for blast beats, breakbeats, and gabber kicks, the duo brews a Molotov cocktail of electronics, raw vocals, and heavy bass. Uncompromising music that balances on the edge between metal and ’90s rave.
This show is part of a pilot by EKKO and booking agency Friendly Fire. For all concerts co-organized by EKKO and Friendly Fire in 2025, we’re offering three different ticket price options: a regular ticket, a reduced-price ticket, and a higher-priced support ticket. The latter two are available in limited quantities, while supplies last. Since financial considerations often play a big role in the decision to go out — and not everyone has the same budget — we want to explore the impact of offering tiered ticket pricing. The higher-priced support tickets exist to make the reduced-price tickets possible, not to generate extra income for EKKO, Friendly Fire, or the artist.
