The Netherlands’ most intense noise rock trio has changed its name but not its identity. Texoprint (formerly Kalaallit Nunaat) specializes in noise at the highest level. This autumn, they will release their first album and celebrate it, among other places, at EKKO. They create dark, gritty songs full of energy, blending noise rock, post-punk, and shoegaze. Over the past year, they’ve been busy performing at Best Kept Secret, Zwarte Cross, Eurosonic, and have completed several international tours.
The cursed Eindhoven quartet søwt brings their grim yet engaging sound to Ekko. Think critical lyrics, intense explosions of sound, and beautiful melodies ripped apart by the horrors of everyday life.
