The Bug Club is a tight-knit, energetic garage rock duo that tells stories about everyday life with humor, riffs, and driving rhythms. The Bug Club, consisting of the creative duo Sam Willmett (guitar/vocals) and Tilly Harris (bass/vocals), was founded in 2016 in the little-known rock ‘n’ roll hotspot of Caldicot, Monmouthshire. They now have a new album out, released on Sub Pop and AT EASE. They’ve also performed at influential festivals like ESNS, Into The Great Wide Open, and Left of the Dial. After making their Utrecht debut at EKKO in 2023, The Bug Club returns with renewed energy to De Nijverheid on May 2nd.

Doortje Hiddema (LGHTnNG, Real Derek) dives into a mix of lo-fi, noise-pop, and unfiltered emotion as Euroboy. Her sound is compared to artists like Cate Le Bon and Mad Nanna, but it also carries that typical “anti-pop” vibe, giving it a distinctive character. Her album abcde features a raw blend of untuned guitars and spontaneous compositions.
