French electronic duo blends dreampop, techno, and triphop into a contrasting whole.
UTO takes you into a mysterious dimension full of contrasts. With intriguing beats that pull you to the edge of reality, the Parisian duo creates a sound that is both danceable and dreamy. Often described as a hypnotic mix of dreampop, techno, and triphop, their debut album Touch The Lock was released in 2022, followed by the well-received When All We Want To Do Is Be The Fire Part Of Fire. On April 9, the duo brings their latest EP to ACU, delivering their anything-but-conventional sound live.

Aluminium is a new trio that creates experimental electronic music, using modular synthesizers and both acoustic and electronic instruments. The vocals alternate between airy, flowing melodies and more rhythmic spoken passages. Their music is inspired by artists like Jockstrap, Mid-Air Thief, and Sweet Trip. Aluminium came together at the Herman Brood Academy. They have already performed at venues such as Skatecafé in Amsterdam, and many more shows are on the way.
