GLASWEGIAN LIVE SENSATION SHATTERS BOUNDARIES BETWEEN ELECTRONICA AND POST-PUNK
After a phenomenal debut single, an EP full of industrial post-punk bangers, and shows all over Europe that sometimes resemble illegal raves, VLURE’s first album is finally on the horizon: ESCALATE. The Scottish electropunk band excels at blending razor-sharp guitars, powerful synth melodies, and energetic techno that teeters on the edge of madness.
The highly combustible relationship between VLURE and Utrecht ignited with a performance at the experimental club night Freaky Dancing, which for a moment made it seem as though WAS had relocated to Glasgow. With this intimate show at ACU, VLURE is undoubtedly beginning a new chapter. As the band themselves introduce their upcoming record: “It’s for Glasgow. It’s for you, and your mates. It’s for every mad night and every moment when time stood still. Hold it close. Let it escalate.”
TTFO emerged from the Utrecht underground metal scene out of a desire to push boundaries. With a shared love for blast beats, breakbeats, and gabber kicks, the duo brews a Molotov cocktail of electronics, raw vocals, and heavy bass. Uncompromising music that balances on the edge between metal and ’90s rave.
