Queer clubnight with an extraterrestrial mix of art and DJ sets filled with techno, (hard)trance, hyperpop and more
Extraterrestrial life has landed on Earth!vAnd guess what? It’s us… When the members of Queerdoos realized this, they decided it was time to give the alien a place in Utrecht’s nightlife.
XO (yes, like exo – meaning “outside” in Latin) is the night where you can expect the unexpected, where we organize the disorienting, where disruption is the spirit of our time, and where we live the unthinkable. Come get lost with us in a bizarre mix of techno, (hard)trance, hyperpop, DnB, hardcore, UK garage, and reggaeton. Surrender yourself to the work of artists and theater makers searching for the “queer” in queerness.

Rayan Naftchi’s work is a celebration of the trans body of color, in which beauty, joy, and love serve as resistance. In video installations, the body glitches, transforms, and fuses as it reclaims itself from alienation.

Margherita

Sausy
A Dutch-Surinamese DJ from Amsterdam with a sharp ear for deep groovy basslines, percussive rhythms, and booty shakers. In their blends, experimentation, emotion, and dancefloor euphoria are always central—because to them, the euphoria of a good dancefloor has often felt like home. In their DJ sets, Sausy honors the rhythms and echoes of the BIPOC & queer communities they are part of.
Maeve
Maeve is a non-binary DJ from Utrecht who mixes drum & bass, UK garage, bass music, dubstep, and grime—preferably all in one night. Nothing is too wild for them. Think artists like Nikita The Wicked, IMANU, Sega Bodega, and ALT BLK ERA. Are you coming to dance?
MBQT
Just like the word ambiguity, meaning more than one possible interpretation, MBQT also sonically floats between various subgenres and eras of techno and trance. Their eclectic music taste makes them well-equipped for a variety of different venues, time slots, and crowds, and they’re always searching for new tracks to expand their musical language. The Rotterdam-based DJ blends both hypnotic and euphoric elements into their sets, not shying away from cheeky edits or harder club sounds. Expect a dancefloor full of trippy soundscapes, clubby rhythms, and queer euphoria.
Daddy Knakworst
The name says it all: Daddy Knakworst is a flamboyant male daddy with a big vegan hotdog. He’s the alter ego of Hanna, who uses him not only as an excuse to be on stage but also as playful resistance against the patriarchy. Daddy is weird, filthy, and freaky—but why do you secretly find that sexy?
