Lenny van Hout
Lenny van Hout (21) is an artist and poet from Utrecht. In his work he explores emotions from his own life through images and words, while addressing social themes with installations and performance art. What began as a way to cope with personal struggles has grown into an artistic practice in which he aims to touch and support others.
His exhibition at EKKO is about nightlife: goi
ng out, getting lost, searching and observing. For Lenny, the night can sometimes feel uncertain, as if you don’t quite know where you belong or who you are. Yet in that chaos, he believes, the most beautiful and strangest moments can arise. The works on display capture that tension and invite you to wander and look—not just to party, but also to pause and reflect on everything that unfolds, from the uncomfortable to the magical.
