A celebration of sound
Le Guess Who? is considered one of the most forward-thinking festivals in the world. The festival is dedicated to sounds that are rarely, if ever, heard elsewhere, offering new perspectives on what is possible within music.
Le Guess Who? returns to Utrecht from November 7-10, 2024, for its seventeenth edition. Over four days, the festival takes over the city with performances by more than 150 artists in venues such as concert halls, theaters, churches, and clubs.
On Saturday, November 9, the lineup includes the Japanese psych-rock band Bo Ningen, presenting their alternative live soundtrack to Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 magnum opus *The Holy Mountain*; Mexico-based experimental cellist and composer Mabe Fratti alongside London band Shards; DJ Babatr, known as the Godfather of Raptor House; Blanco Teta, a band from the emerging queer Latinx scene, blending improbably but irresistibly reworked cello with punk influences; Australian post-apocalyptic acid punk disco band Tropical Fuck Storm; Egyptian artist Abyusif, who pushes the boundaries of rap; a collaborative project from renowned experimental electronic musicians Kevin Richard Martin & KMRU; and a rare, extensive set by Theo Parrish, who explores, challenges, and redefines the limits of Black dance music.
