NEW LATIN QUEER CLUB NIGHT BRINGS SENSUALITY AND INCLUSION TO THE DANCEFLOOR
Sos unx perrx? Bienvenidx! The new Latinx queer event PERRX lands for its very first edition at EKKO. Tonight, DJs Eurowitch, Juna, and La Equipa will make your hips shake with reggaeton, dembow, and cumbia sounds; genres that haven’t prominently emerged within the queer scene. PERRX embraces sensuality and joy and stands for safety, inclusivity, and queerness on the dance floor. Dejarse llevar. Llevar.
For this first edition, PERRX is raising funds for Casa Flotante Diversa, an organization building a community house for queer deaf people in Ecuador.
Eurowitch
The multidisciplinary Eurowitch is a DJ, singer and producer dividing his time between Spain and the Netherlands. He blends influences from reggaeton, baile funk, dancehall, and afrobeat into sexy urban club music. As a queer artist, La Euro’s motivation is to represent his community while staying true to the roots of reggaeton.
Juna
DJ Juna is a Berlin-born and raised Cuban/American artist. Her style consists of a dynamic combination of danceable rhythms with influences from reggaeton, house, and techno. In this way, Juna creates an infectious atmosphere full of hard-hitting and pulsating sounds.
La Equipa
The organizers of PERRX themselves take the stage as La Equipa, providing the warm-up for this evening.
