CINEMATIC POP-NOIR FILLED WITH ORCHESTRAL ELEMENTS AND POETIC VOCALS
Please note: due to success, the concert of Morpheus has been moved from De Kromme Haring to EKKO.
Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Morpheus made a striking entrance into the music world in 2023 with his unique sound and poetic lyrics, crafted for the solitary soul. The sudden passing of his mother taught him not to delay pursuing what he truly wants. He decided to transform this poignant experience into a healing force: telling authentic stories through his music. He weaves orchestral elements with modern productions and digital beats, resulting in an immersive pop-noir experience. After his memorable closing performance at Grasnapolsky 2024, and before continuing his journey toward a debut album, Morpheus will embark on a winter tour in intimate venues, including a stop at EKKO.
Support: Will Knox
British singer-songwriter Will Knox offers a warm blend of folk and indie, with his honest lyrics and vulnerable vocals at the heart of his music. His intimate songs, inspired by the depth of Elliott Smith and the atmosphere of Bear’s Den, truly pull you in. On his new album English Silence, you’ll hear gentle guitars, harmonies, and subtle percussion. Knox writes about personal themes such as fatherhood, healing, and self-discovery, translating complex emotions into captivating music. This autumn, he will be performing in the Netherlands, as part of Popronde and as a special guest with Morpheus.
