EKKO is looking for a new Bar Manager (m/f/x) experienced hospitality enthusiast with leadership and atmosphere-building skills. +/- 10 hours per week (1 to 2 shifts, including one night).
But isn’t EKKO mainly run by volunteers? That’s correct. The Bar Manager is a paid position, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all activities behind and around the bar. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has an infinite love for music
- Can guide and motivate volunteers
- Can understand and comprehend basic Dutch; enough to be able to take orders
- Welcomes guests in a friendly manner, takes orders, and serves
- Can inform guests about the assortment
- Can oversee the atmosphere during productions
- Manages all activities and bar staff
- Coordinates and performs the final cleaning
- Can monitor and maintain bar supplies effectively
