Bar manager

EKKO is looking for a new Bar Manager (m/f/x) experienced hospitality enthusiast with leadership and atmosphere-building skills. +/- 10 hours per week (1 to 2 shifts, including one night).

But isn’t EKKO mainly run by volunteers? That’s correct. The Bar Manager is a paid position, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all activities behind and around the bar. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an infinite love for music
  • Can guide and motivate volunteers
  • Can understand and comprehend basic Dutch; enough to be able to take orders
  • Welcomes guests in a friendly manner, takes orders, and serves
  • Can inform guests about the assortment
  • Can oversee the atmosphere during productions
  • Manages all activities and bar staff
  • Coordinates and performs the final cleaning
  • Can monitor and maintain bar supplies effectively

Are you available for at least two days a week in the evenings, nights, and weekends? Do you enjoy working at night? And do you have time to work about 10 hours per week? Then we offer you the following!
