Dutch-Belgian duo creates uninhibited electro-jazz and funk pop
BeraadGeslagen = Fulco Ottervanger and Lander Gyselinck. The first is a keyboardist known for his solo project FULCO, the other is the drummer for STUFF. and has been causing a stir as part of Lander & Adriaan for not too long now. Together, these two improvisation athletes combine jazz with experimental Dutch-language pop, and they are in their ultimate form, especially now that they are back with the new album ‘Altijd Bewust Bewegen’ (release on October 27). On this album, the duo explores reasons for movement, combining admiration for sports with pushing musical boundaries. Live, they do so in a 360-degree setup in the middle of the venue, making it clear; this is one not to be missed.
