AMSTERDAM NATIVE BLENDS JAZZ, HIP-HOP, AND R&B, INFLUENCED BY WEST AFRICAN ROOTS
Bnnyhunna from Amsterdam translates his challenging youth in Southeast Amsterdam into a mix of jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and afro. Influenced by artists like Fela Kuti and Kendrick Lamar, he has sold out shows and performed at North Sea Jazz and Montreux since his debut ‘SINTHA’ in 2021. In 2024, his debut album will be released, and he will embark on a headline tour. With his art, he aims to fully engage his audience and create an inclusive community.

QUANZA is een veelzijdige Nederlands-Surinaamse producer, gitarist, componist en musicoloog. Jimi Hendrix was zijn inspiratie voor gitaar en later stuurde Flying Lotus hem richting elektronische muziek. Zijn muzikale stijl kenmerkt zich door een eclectische mix van live-instrumentatie en elektronische klanken, die variëren van elektronische jazz tot avant-garde hiphop wat een onvoorspelbare en verfrissende sound oplevert. Dit najaar brengt hij zijn vlammende gitaarsolo’s en cinematische hip-hop producties naar EKKO om de zaal warm te spelen voor Bnnyhunna.
